Periorbital challenges w/ Lee Walker Academy

How to Reopen Your Medical Practice After the COVID-19 Lockdown?

Francesco Bernardini was live with Martin Devoto | PERIOCULAR REJUVENATION

About Me

After completing the necessary medical education and the residency in Ophthalmology in Genova (Italy), I attended a two year clinical fellowship in Oculoplastic, Reconstructive and Orbital Surgery in Cincinnati.

Oculoplastic Surgeon Francesco Bernardini

Upon my return in Italy I have dedicated my professional life solely to the field of my main interest including functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery, lacrimal surgery and orbital pathology.

I have published more than 40 papers in international journals, co-authored a book on new tecnhiques for aesthetic rejuvenation of the face, participated to several book chapters in Italian and English and participated as an invited lecturer worldwide.

I have been teaching oculoplastic surgery at the American Academy of Ophthalmology for as long as I graduated from my fellowship and participate in humanitarian missions across the world with ‘Orbis: saving sight worldwide’. I’m now a Professor at the University of Genova where I teach to the residents of the Ophthalmology Department and also to the residents of the Plastic Surgery Department.

I’m a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) and Orbital Society.
I am in the editorial board of the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and a Reviewer for Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology
